Dung Beetles of the super family Scarabaeoidea are some of the most successful family of beetles on the planet; inhabiting all continents (with the exception of Antarctica). The species has diversified to fill a large number of realised niches this can be attributed to the species intimate relationship with large herbivorous animals as a detritovore with over 30000 species worldwide.
